Connectivism and Connective Knowledge: The Future of Education and Training
What will education and training look like in the future? How must we equip ourselves to serve learners in the next decade? Some educators suggest that the “connections that enable us to learn more are more important than our current state of knowing”. The networks we create to acquire and manage information are the foundations of learning. This course will explore the concepts of networked learning and suggest ways for educators and administrators to respond. The course will be delivered fully online through live class sessions and discussion forums. Learners will use a variety of different technologies representative of the inherent socially connective nature of learning today. Technologies used during the course will be freely available as open source or open access.
